What equipment do you use?

While camera bodies are upgraded throughout the years when new versions arrive on the scene, currently I work with Canon bodies and currently  use the 5D MKII.  A variety of lenses are in my equipment.   I have prime lenses such as the 24mm 2.8, 80mm 1.8 and 50mm 1.4, as well as the 70-200mm 2.8L and 17-30 2.8L and a few specialty lenses like the lensbaby series and fish eye.

In studio I work with Alien Bees, pocket wizards, and a wide variety of modifiers as well as reflectors.  I have many canvas, paper and muslin backgrounds as well as original sets built in studio.

What will this cost me?

Depending on the type of session, my session retainer starts at $75 for a 30 minute session.  Print pricing ranges from $35 on up.  I do not have a min purchase unless you are buying a digital only package.  Commercial work is priced per job, please call or email with a detailed description of what you’d like photographed for a quote.

Do you sell digital files?

The answer is yes, but in a limited basis.  While my ultimate goal is to have my art I create for you displayed upon the walls of your home and not sitting on a cd in your desk, due to the large demand, I do sell individual digital files with a print release.  The pricing for digital files is higher than a single 8×10 print as you are buying the right to reproduce my art up to an 8×10 (only).  I do NOT give away my copyright, I only provide a print release and 3.5×5 professional prints to accompany the digital files so you may see what they should look like printed as I do not guarantee prints from a consumer lab only our studio’s lab.

Do you photograph weddings?

In very rare occasions I will photograph a wedding.  I do have individuals that I can direct you to that do weddings on a full time basis.

Are you a location or studio photographer?

Both!  I have a studio in the Manchester Millyard that most clients choose, from inside to the urban landscape outside the studio.   I will also go on location (there is a location fee outside of the Manchester area) from your home to a special park and even the beach (beach sessions are held various times through the summer and have their own session fees).

How long till I view the proofs from my session?

A gallery of your proofs will be available within 2 weeks from your session date.
